Following his interview featured in the May 2025 special issue of Forbes France on Sustainability - No More Plastic, Eugène Riconneaus was invited to speak at the Forbes Sustainability Summit 2025 in Paris, within the Fashion Reimagined section. He presented ER Ocean Recherche, before joining a roundtable alongside Maya Persaud (Espero Atelier) and Charlotte Lemay (No More Plastic Foundation). The summit, brilliantly organized by Rosalie Mann, provided Eugène with the opportunity to share insights on the challenges that many innovators face, and how ER Ocean Recherche successfully overcame them.
He reflected on how working with ER Ocean Rercherche’s new materials reignited his creative drive, after years of disillusionment with the fashion industry’s sustainability practices. He concluded with a powerful call to action: to embrace collaboration as the key to meaningful innovation.
