New York - MoMA
A short film by Eugène Riconneaus has been shown at the MoMA in New York during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) week 2022, at the premiere of the “Human kind film series” in cooperation with the 17th United Nations associations film festival, where films of positive social change, social impact and creativity are presented. “I started this project in my teenage bedroom I was 12, …” was the incipit of the film.
Although the movie was conceived well before the launch of ER Ocean Recherche project, it already expressed the foundational values that now define the initiative: a deep respect for the Earth and its ocean, a commitment to more conscious creation, and a desire to explore new materials derived from marine resources. An early reflection of Eugène Riconneaus’ vision.
